Women’s Low Sex Drive

HSDD

Have you experienced a decrease in sexual desire that bothers you or affects your relationship? You are not alone. Nearly one in  ten women report having low desire with sexually-related personal distress, a problem that can be Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD) or secondary to other medical conditions, medication use, substance abuse or psychosocial factors.

While many women suffer, awareness of HSDD is still surprisingly low and there are no FDA approved treatments available.

QUEST currently has four different studies open for HSDD:

Pre-Menopausal

Our study for pre-menopausal women recently closed. Please check back periodically for new studies.

Post-Menopausal

This study is to investigate a therapy for women that have gone through menopause naturally or had a hysterectomy. The study requires six visits to QUEST and compensates volunteers up to $550 for their time and travel.

Post-Menopausal with Risk Factors

This study is to evaluate an investigational therapy, LibiGel in women with certain risk factors such as smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure, age, etc. The study requires nine visits to QUEST and five telephone contacts and includes compensation up to $450 for participants' time and travel.

Surgically Post-Menopausal

This study is to evaluate an investigational therapy, LibiGel in women who have had a hysterectomy. The study requires nine visits to QUEST and five telephone contacts and includes compensation up to $450 for participants' time and travel.
